WITH YOU Part - 1

 PART 1

Shantivan, Delhi

It shows a girl knocking on the door calling her father.

Girl: (by knocking) Dad! Are you there? (not getting any response, she entered the room and called again)

Father: Haan Anju, I am taking a bath, will come out in a few minutes.

Anjali: Okay, Dad. Mom asked me to call you for breakfast.

Father: You join the table Anju and tell your mother I am coming shortly.

Anjali: Yes, Dad (saying this she turned to leave but stopped hearing the ringing sound of the phone. She thought to give it to her father, thinking it may be an important call. When she picked the phone, the call is flashing with the name “MY DIVA”. Confused she lifted the call)

Person (on-call): Hello Darling! How are you? You forget about me so soon. No calls, no messages, no reply. I think your wife is keeping you busy these days you forget about me. Earlier you used to talk to me at least once a day and now no calls that too more than a month. Even you forgot to visit me. You know I am missing your company, talks and....... (Unable to hear more Anjali cut the call and kept the phone on the bed panicked and left from there hurriedly with fear)



At the dining table,

Ratna is arranging the table for breakfast with the help of HP. She saw Anjali getting down from the stairs with a tensed look.

Ratna: What happened Anju, why are you looking tensed?

Anjali: (composing herself as she doesn’t want to spill the beans before confirming anything) No... Nothing Maa. (trying to find some excuse) Haan today is the first day as a doctor in AR Hospitals na so I am tensed a little so...... 

Ratna:  Don’t get tensed, remember one thing you are a doctor who gives life to others. If you get tensed like this how will you handle the patients? What matters is you are giving your best or not and you are being truthful to your profession or not? Be yourself and do your duty. And I know my Anju will give her best in anything she does, doesn’t she?

Anjali: Yes Maa, Your Anju will give her best (saying this she hugged her mother tightly which surprised Ratna not that she never hugged her but the hug is different compared to those)

Ratna: (reciprocating her hug thinking she is really tensed for her first day) Don’t worry Anju, Everything will be alright.

Anjali: Yes, Maa, everything will be alright. I will let nothing happen to you.

Ratna: What?!! (sensing something definitely wrong with her) What happened beta, don’t tell me it’s your first-day coz that’s not the reason. As far as I know, my Anju is a confident person who can face any challenges bravely. Tell me the real one, don’t you dare lie?

Just then they heard someone saying “What’s going on between mother and daughter” from their Chote and turned. Anjali thanked her brother inwardly.

Ratna/Anjali: Good Morning, Chote/Bhai

Arnav: (hugging both) Good Morning, my dear beautiful ladies. Now tell me what’s going on.

Anjali: (slapping her head mentally) Nothing Bhai, I am just tensed as it’s my first day at AR Hospitals.

Arnav: Don’t worry, Anju. Everything will be alright (side hugging her whispering in her ears as Ratna went to bring other dishes leaving siblings behind) I heard everything I want to know why you said what you said. Anjali nodded her head.

Later Manohar, Manorama, Aman, Akash, and Lavanya joined them. After exchanging pleasantries, they settled among their seats and waited for Arvind. All went silent and sat straight when they saw Arvind coming down. He came and sat on his usual chair and all started eating breakfast.

After having breakfast at Arnav, Aman, Akash went to ARD. Arvind and Lavanya left for ARH. Manohar and Anjali left for AR Hospitals.

(Arvind is a disciplined and restrictive person like his (late) father. Not that he is like this from birth, but some circumstances and situations forced him to be like that. But he changed his nature after meeting someone 6 years back. He changed his perspective of seeing things again, just like years back when he is with his best friend who lost in this world. He is not a secretive person and shares everything with his wife. He started asking his children opinions when earlier he asked them to do what he wants, not even asking them what they wanted to do. The change in him brought major changes in his family for the best. All voiced their opinions freely, not like earlier than it only restricts them to listening. Nobody knows the reason behind his changed behavior except his wife.)




Evening,

All youngsters are sitting in Arnav’s room to discuss the issue which happened in the morning. After knowing what happened, all are in a kind of shock with this information. They don’t know what to do. According to them, they need to remove that girl from their peaceful life mainly from their Papa/Badi Papa’s life with no one’s knowledge. After some time, they decided what to do but before that; they need to know who is on the call. And for that, they need to get the caller number. They joined elders and trying to seek a way to know her number. Arvind left to the study room to sort some files. Ratna and Manorama went to the kitchen while elders went to their rooms to get fresh up.

After making sure all went to their rooms, Lavanya tried to pick the phone, it started ringing. Seeing the caller ID, she glances at others. They stood frozen hearing,

Ratna: Whose on the call?

Anjali: (taking the phone in her hands) Dad’s phone Maa I will give it to him.

Ratna: It’s okay, Anju. I am going there only I will hand it to Arvind give it to me.

Having no choice, Anjali gave the cell to Ratna.

When Ratna is about to turn the phone, just then Arvind came back from the Study room. All youngsters stood there nervously, not knowing what to do.
